Shalako played a huge role in my success with math, and I could always count on him whenever I had a surprise question in bio, chem, or physics. His advice has stuck with me through university, and his calm, patient way of teaching is something I now try to model in my own tutoring as I work toward becoming a teacher myself. I’m truly grateful for everything he taught me.

I work with Shaq at our day job and can wholeheartedly say he is an incredibly caring, respectful and supportive person. He would make a great mentor for a young person needing some extra support in their studies. Our employer requires us to be cleared through a vulnerable sector criminal record check which adds value for parents wanting to ensure their child's safety on this platform. Shaq would also be a great fit for neurodivergent folks as I believe he has a firm grasp of what is needed in the realm of neurodivergence and his method of explaining things can be molded to suit the needs of the student!

Shalako (Shaq) is so great with kids! I see interact with his son and the kids at our jiujitsu gym and they flock to him like little birds. There is rarely a moment where he is not engaged and connecting with one or more of them. He is funny, friendly, and able to interact with kids at their level. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable, as well, and seems up to date on the trends kids are into.

Shalako was my tutor for a couple of years while I was in high school. He really helped me understand difficult concepts and gain confidence in my studies. I use to look forward to going to Oxford Learning Centre where he taught me because he made learning enjoyable and always took the time to make sure I truly understood the material. He's a fantastic tutor!
