About Anthony
I'm a professional, personable and understanding chemistry enthusiast, with a natural interest in the maths and physics that underpin it; I've always been curious about how the world around us actually works.
I struggled with some of the classical teaching methods at school myself, so I know first-hand that different people need different approaches to make new ideas click which is where I think 1-on-1 tutoring really comes into its own!

My sessions are about achieving your personal goals, whether that's freshening up on a topic you're a bit rusty on, preparing for an exam, tackling something from scratch, or breaking down a subject into something that actually makes sense to you.
My academic and industrial experience means I can relate what I teach directly to the real world, which I find helps things stick.
I've spent three years tutoring and demonstrating to undergraduates at the University of Nottingham, plus two years of A-level tutoring.
Typically we'll start off with a short consultation to discuss what you want to get out of the sessions, and take it from there. Lessons typically run 30–60 minutes depending on what we're working on.
