About John
I'm John from Ruiru, Kenya. I'm a native Swahili and English speaker who loves meeting people from different countries.
I started teaching Swahili after helping many tourist friends learn basic phrases for their Kenya trips. I realized I enjoy making language learning simple, fun, and practical.
I'm patient, friendly, and I understand the challenges of learning a new language. My goal is to help you speak Swahili confidently so you can connect with Kenyans during your visit or stay.
Outside teaching, I enjoy football and learning about different cultures.

Jambo! I'm John, a native Swahili speaker from Ruiru, Kenya. I help complete beginners speak real conversational Swahili fast. No boring grammar or textbooks.
My lessons focus on practical daily Swahili you can use immediately:

→ Ordering food & drinks: "Nipe chai na chapati, tafadhali"

I explain everything in simple English and I'm very patient. Lessons are fun and relaxed via Zoom, WhatsApp Video, or in-person in Ruiru.
