About Leo
I'm Leo Heard and I'm 15 turning 16 and I am in year 10 of Private school St Pius X college in Chatswood and I am in the 2nd highest math class in my year. I am based in St Ives, North Shore and math has always been a subject I've enjoyed and always found myself excelling at. I regularly do well in math tests and fully understand advanced levels in algebra, linear equations, trigonometry and all other math topics. I can help teach students ranging from year 5 and 6, to students entering first years in high school, to year 8 and 9's. Help can include test preparation, understanding concepts and homework help. My aim for teaching is to help the student fully understand the concept of the topic so they can independently solve problems and be confident in themselves while being patient if they're struggling. My motivation towards this is that I love to see students thrive and make a boring subject as important as math become more enjoyable and easy to understand. I am a patient, friendly, easy to talk to, good communicator that will guarantee students better results. In terms of availability I am available after school on Tuesdays, Fridays and early morning Sundays and can be contacted during the holidays as well. For all sessions I will need to be contacted at least 3-5 days prior. Hope you see me as a good tutor as this is something I think I'll find very beneficial in my growth as a teenager.

I can teach subjects in math for students aged 10-14 and can cover all math subjects. Tutoring lessons can range from 1 hour to 1 and a half hours. My method of teaching is getting the students to understand easily how to solve the questions and remember the formulas and how to implement it when it comes to tests.
