About Lasitha
Hello! My name is Lasitha and I have been a tutor for the past 5 years! I have recently finished a Master by Research in the field of Cardiovascular Science at Imperial College London. I am a professional Primary, KS3, GCSE and A-level tutor, who has tutored more than 1000 hours. I have taught more than 40 students so far, both at GCSE and A-levels level. Most of them went to study Medicine and other Science related courses! I aim to boost the confidence of the students, unravel exam questions and mark schemes. I also want to provide regular assessments, for an evidence based track record. Why me? During my undergraduate degree, I was awarded a research award for the well-structured approach I demonstrated during my research project. I believe that knowledge by itself won't bring students the A*s and As that they are looking for. They need to find the right strategy to achieve these grades. I believe that I can help students achieve these grades with a plan which is fully based on their skills. Remember, no question is ever too stupid, so let's work together to get you on track with science and maths! Lasitha is a very understanding and patient tutor. He caters to the student's needs and makes sure that the concept is fully understood before moving onto new concepts.
