About Sydney
I'm currently studying Spanish at the University of Liverpool, and my love for the language goes back as far as I can remember. I've travelled to Spain every year throughout my life, and that connection to the culture, music and media has shaped how I learn and teach the language, it's not just about grammar rules, but about understanding how Spanish is actually used and enjoyed.
I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in Spanish, especially when it comes to GCSE exams. I understand how daunting exams can feel, so I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
My approach is patient and encouraging, with lessons tailored to each student's needs, learning style and goals. Whether you're just starting your GCSE journey or need extra support before exams, I'm here to help you reach your full potential.

My lessons combine clear explanations with plenty of practice, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, speaking confidence and exam-style questions. I tailor each session to the student's exam board, current level and target grade, identifying weak areas and building a clear plan to improve them.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on what works best for the student. I'm happy to teach face-to-face or online, using a mix of worksheets, past papers and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging.
These lessons are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities, whether you're aiming to pass, consolidate your grade, or push towards the top marks. Patient, supportive and focused on building real confidence in the language.
