About Barik

Hi! I’m a tutor who’s been passionate about helping others learn math and physics since my own school days. Back then, I was often the one explaining tough topics to my classmates—and over time, I realized how much I enjoyed it. There’s something really rewarding about seeing someone go from confused to confident, especially when they realize that math and physics aren’t as scary or boring as they thought. I am also familiar with the SABIS curriculum since I did all of my high school there. But I still know what the concepts of IGCSE's and AP are. I mostly work with students from Grade 5 to Grade 9, because I feel like I can really connect with them. Being closer in age helps—I get how school feels right now, and I try to make lessons less intimidating and more like a conversation. I’m also super patient. I’ll never rush into a new topic until you feel totally sure about the one we’re on. That’s how real understanding happens. I’ve always had a strong background in these subjects. I was a straight-A student in middle school, and I got A’s in both math and physics in Grade 12. But more than grades, I believe what makes a great tutor is someone who makes learning feel possible—and even fun. My goal is to help you feel more confident, more curious, and maybe even excited about learning. Because once you start to “get it,” math and physics can actually be pretty awesome.

About the lesson

I know that every child learns in their own way, so I take the time to really understand how your child thinks. My goal isn’t just to teach formulas or facts, but to make them understand math and physics and to make it feel less scary and more like a puzzle they can actually enjoy. I’m patient, supportive, and always ready to explain things in a way that makes sense to them. Together, we’ll build confidence and real understanding—step by step.
