About ROB
I grew up in Montreal, Quebec at a French immersion school. Although my home and religious life was in English, my school, hobbies and neighborhood was French. I took advanced French classes in college and taught French 1,2 and 3 for High School students at a Christian school. I also ran a French club for elementary and tutored students that wanted one on one learning.

My first priority in teaching is understanding the desired outcome of the student. The methods change if the desire is to speak or understand or write in French. My default is to focus on effective communication. As a native French speaker, I am able to help a student not only know what may be technically correct verses how the language is actually used in the community.
