About Nikhil

My name is Nikhil, and I specialise in helping students navigate early career choices with clarity and confidence. I was accepted into top universities such as LSE and UCL to study Economics, but chose instead to pursue a competitive apprenticeship with EY. That decision transformed my career — leading to further offers from Barclays, the Ministry of Justice, and a boutique consultancy at a young age.

Because I’ve built my career without following the traditional university path, I understand the challenges, doubts, and pressures that students face when trying to make the “right” choice. I’ve been there, and I know exactly how overwhelming applications, assessments, and career decisions can feel.

That’s why I teach.

I want to give students the guidance I wish I’d had: honest advice, practical strategies, and real-world insight into what employers actually look for. My goal is always to build confidence, unlock potential, and show students that with the right support, they can achieve outstanding results — no matter their background or starting point.

About the lesson

Teaching Style & Methods:
I focus on practical, experience-based coaching. My sessions are structured, personalised, and centred on real steps students can take to secure apprenticeships or early-career roles. I teach through examples, guided exercises, mock interviews, and tailored feedback. Everything is action-oriented and designed to help students stand out.

Lesson Length:
Standard 1-to-1 session: 60 minutes
CV/LinkedIn reviews: 30-45 minutes
Mock interviews: 45-60 minutes

Qualifications & Experience:
I received offers from LSE and UCL for Economics, but chose the apprenticeship route instead. I completed a competitive EY apprenticeship and have since gained offers from Barclays, the Ministry of Justice, and a boutique consultancy. This gives me first-hand knowledge of apprenticeship applications, early-career recruitment, and building a strong career without a degree.

Who My Lessons Are For:
- Students 15-20 applying for apprenticeships or exploring alternatives to university
- Early-career individuals 18-25 looking to progress, improve their CV, or prepare for interviews
- Parents or schools seeking expert guidance on the apprenticeship route
