• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I developed an interest in cryptocurrencies in 2019, right when the crypto space was becoming more mainstream. Initially, I was intrigued by Bitcoin and Ethereum, but as I dug deeper, I became captivated by the underlying blockchain technology and its potential to reshape various industries. My passion grew as I explored areas like DeFi (Decentralized Finance) and NFTs, realizing that this field is much more than just digital currencies.
  
  Tutoring started when friends and colleagues asked me to help them understand crypto better. Seeing them grasp complex topics was rewarding, so I decided to formalize it and reach a wider audience.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  In my lessons, I focus on essential topics that anyone entering the crypto space needs to understand. This includes buying and trading cryptocurrencies, ensuring the safety of your investments, and setting up and managing wallets. I also cover more advanced concepts like passive income strategies, such as staking, yield farming, and liquidity providing. These are often underexplored but can be incredibly rewarding for those looking to maximise their crypto portfolio's potential.
  
  Another crucial aspect I teach is portfolio diversification and understanding the risk-reward dynamics involved in crypto investing. I find these topics especially important because many beginners tend to overlook them in favour of short-term gains, which can be risky.
  
  While I enjoy teaching all of these topics, I sometimes find that explaining the more technical aspects of blockchain technology can be challenging, especially for those who are just getting started. However, I always try to simplify it to make it digestible and engaging.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  I wouldn't say I had a single role model, but I've always admired educators who could break down complex topics into simple, digestible pieces. In the crypto space, I found inspiration in various online educators and content creators who made the complicated world of blockchain and digital currencies approachable to beginners.
  
  Their ability to distill complicated topics into something anyone could understand inspired me to take a similar approach with my students. I believe that being able to communicate clearly and guide people through a learning process at their own pace is one of the most valuable qualities a tutor can have.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  I believe a good tutor needs to be patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about the subject they teach. In crypto, where the learning curve can be steep and the technology evolves rapidly, patience is key-students often need time to grasp concepts fully. Adaptability is equally important because each student comes with a different level of knowledge and learning style, so being able to tailor lessons accordingly makes a huge difference.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  One memorable moment from my tutoring experience happened when I was guiding a student through setting up their first crypto wallet. They were extremely nervous about making mistakes, especially because they had heard stories about people losing access to their funds due to small errors. I patiently walked them through each step, from securing their private keys to understanding how transactions work.
  
  A few weeks later, they reached out to tell me how confident they felt managing their crypto investments. The transformation from anxious beginner to confident investor was incredibly rewarding, and it reminded me why I love teaching this subject-it empowers people to take control of their financial future.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

  One of the biggest challenges in the world of cryptocurrencies is keeping up with the constant changes. The crypto landscape evolves rapidly, with new projects, technologies, and regulations emerging almost daily. As a tutor, I need to stay up-to-date so I can give my students the most accurate and relevant information. This requires a lot of continuous learning and adaptability, which can be demanding but is also part of what makes the field exciting.
  
  Another challenge is helping students overcome the fear of complexity. Many people feel overwhelmed by the technical aspects of blockchain and crypto, so I work hard to break down these topics in a way that feels approachable and easy to understand. It can be tough at times, but seeing that "aha" moment when everything clicks for them is incredibly rewarding.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  My passion lies in both the subject of cryptocurrencies and teaching. I'm fascinated by how blockchain technology has the potential to transform industries and create new financial opportunities for individuals. But beyond that, what truly drives me is helping others understand these opportunities and how they can benefit from them.
  
  There's something deeply rewarding about demystifying a complex subject like crypto and watching my students grow in confidence as they take control of their financial journey. It's not just about teaching them to invest or trade, but empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions in a field that is often seen as daunting.

  What makes me a Superprof is my commitment to my students' success. I don't just teach the basics of crypto; I offer personalised guidance based on each student's goals and knowledge level.
  
  Additionally, my hands-on experience as both an investor and a tutor gives me a practical understanding of the challenges people face when entering this field. I believe in making crypto accessible and empowering people with the tools to succeed in an ever-evolving digital world. My goal is to simplify complex topics and ensure my students leave each session with clarity and confidence.
