About Will
I’m very competitive and would hope to share some of this in a positive way to help push them on and encourage them to strive for their absolute best. As someone who’s recently left the school system I understand the exams currently in place and the struggles students face. I’d hope to provide a calm and welcoming environment where the student feels invited to share their ideas and thoughts.
Sometimes in my experience a student sometimes may find some morale support just as useful as having a set of past paper questions placed in front of them. I’d describe myself as calm and assured and would hope to be able to build a relationship with the student so that they feel comfortable and ultimately able to crack on and achieve the grades they deserve!

Part of my approach as a tutor is to help foster a foundation of personalised study techniques that can help the student to push on and be able to eventually feel confident in themselves to go and achieve the grades they desire. No size fits all and this is why, in my experience, so many students are stumped by the sometimes unsuited techniques offered by their schools.
I’d describe myself as a logical and mathematically minded individual. However, I’m able to sympathise with students who feel perhaps their grade isn’t coming naturally to them. In GCSE’s and even the beginning of A-levels I was under predicted and at times underperformed. I had to learn the techniques necessary to take me to where I wanted to be which enabled me to go from a C prediction in A-level physics to an A/A* prediction and achieving an A in the end.
