About Kirill

I hold a Bachelor's of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and have worked in the industry for over 10 years, with a lot of experience working in FinTech, bigger companies like IBM, public sector, and smaller companies where I implemented and led development of entire features, and even launched two SaaS products by implementing 90% of their entire codebase at one of the newer startups.

In addition to working in the field as a full-stack developer, I am currently also working as a trainer/instructor with individuals and corporate development teams. I have helped hundreds of students and working professionals over the course of the last 3 years unblock themselves and unlock their true potential as computer scientists and software engineers.

About the lesson

Get your PRs merged and release to production faster with customized on-the-job training, tailored to you and/or your team's needs.

For individual working professionals, I am happy to act as a mentor, pair programmer, code reviewer or even a career coach. Work sessions can include help/advice for any or all of the following:

* Helping you come up with solutions architecture for features
* Triaging bugs, root cause analysis and discussing multiple fix alternatives
* Finding missing information in environments with poor documentation or limited communication with teammates
* Working around DevOps/environment/infrastructure issues that are blocking you
* An impartial opinion on your code reviews
* Structured classes on technologies you'd like to get better at
* Strategies on career progression and interview preparation
* Impartial advice on team interaction and collaboration culture

NOTE: Every company's culture is different, and the client is solely responsible to make sure that their use of my services is in compliance with any policies or contractual obligations they may have and agrees to indemnify me of all consequences of their misuse or non-compliance with any of their contractual obligations.

Services for teams and startups:

* Customized training for your team on any of the topics within my area of expertise. Training may be as short as a single workshop, or as long as multiple days of structured classes with practical hands-on lab exercises, delivered through Zoom/Teams/Skype.

* Consulting work to review your product's architecture and propose optimizations

* Hands-on implementation services, with me acting as a regular member of your development team, attending stands, planning meetings, contributing code, helping other teammates and reviewing their pull requests.

* "CTO-as-a-service" style of engagement for emerging smaller startups, to provide guidance on growing your technical stack, establishing best practices and hiring talent to scale your team.
