About Seth
I have been playing Piano for 13 years. I specialised in jazz and later went on to tour and record with various jazz, rock, punk and pop bands. As well as work with bands as a producer. I have a deep love of improvising, music theory and production.

I like to use pieces/improvisations to teach theoretical/practical concepts in lessons. I have found a focus on conceptual and theoretical understanding allows students to progress broadly and in an constantly engaging way. For example we may explore the chords of a jazz standard and how they might be altered with theory to explore a musical mood.
