As a practicing paramedic, I understand how demanding EMS education can be — both academically and mentally. I have worked in high-acuity, fast-paced environments where strong clinical reasoning and calm decision-making are essential. That real-world experience shapes the way I teach.
I pride myself on being approachable, professional, and supportive. Students often struggle not because they aren’t capable, but because they lack confidence or don’t fully understand how to connect concepts together. My role is to simplify complex material, reinforce foundational knowledge, and help you think critically rather than memorize blindly.
I hold myself to a high standard of professionalism and expect the same commitment from my students. Whether you are preparing for the NREMT, working through paramedic school, or trying to sharpen specific skills like cardiology or airway management, I provide structured, focused sessions designed to help you succeed.

As a working paramedic, my teaching approach is practical, structured, and built around real-world application. I focus on helping students truly understand the “why” behind protocols and pathophysiology, not just memorize algorithms. My goal is to build confident, clinically sound providers who can think critically under pressure.
Teaching Method & Techniques:
I use case-based learning, scenario walkthroughs, and guided questioning to strengthen clinical reasoning. We break down complex topics into manageable, understandable pieces. I incorporate real world examples to connect textbook knowledge to street-level medicine. I also emphasize test-taking strategies for NREMT and classroom exams.
Typical Lesson Plan:
• Quick review of previous material
• Focused deep-dive into one topic (e.g., ECG interpretation, shock states, ventilatory management)
• Scenario-based application
• Practice questions and discussion
• Clear takeaways and a short study plan for the week
Sessions are interactive and tailored to your weak areas so we maximize efficiency.

I bring active field experience and high-acuity exposure into every lesson. I don’t just teach what the book says — I teach how it actually plays out on scene. I also prioritize building confidence and clinical decision-making, which is often the biggest gap for new paramedics and EMT students.
