Unkike many elementary and middle school teachers, I completed my degree, student teaching, and credential work, at the time California was rolling out common core. I am a strong proponent of the common core philosophy and methodology. My content knowledge is exceptionally strong, and I excel with students -- particularly those who have have developed the "I just can not do math..." attitude.
