About Pia
I am a full-time Education Specialist with an added Reading & Literacy authorization from the University of California, San Diego. I have more than 15 years in education experience ranging from preschool to high school. I am fluent in English and Tagalog.

My approach is to assess, identify, instruct, then re-evaluate. I identify the area of struggle through a series of informal assessments. Then I focus on the area of deficit through explicit instruction. I monitor progress through re-evaluation every 6-8 weeks.
