About Emma
I am an experienced teacher of English who also has experience of tutoring students for the 11+. I am passionate, dedicated and patient, and I care deeply about children receiving a solid education. I am a strong believer that our education system is flawed and does not benefit all students. I want a better education for ALL students. I hold a Master's degree in English Literature, law degree and a PGCE.

My sessions aim to steer away from the typical classroom feel so that learning can become interactive and enjoyable. With tailored tasks, I aim to make learning enjoyable so that even reluctant learners come away feeling a sense of achievement. Learning is not a one size fits all experience and this mantra is reflected in my practice.
