About Lauren
I have been a mainstream class teacher with classes with high levels of SEN and EAL, a supply teacher and, currently, a French specialist teacher. I have done this to broaden my experience by being part of different schools, witnessing different teaching styles and teaching many different children from different areas and age groups.
For the past 5 years I have also been tutoring privately alongside my studies and work. This ranges from helping with early reading and phonics to sats revision and entrance exam prep and everything in between.

I believe that there are many children who are 'struggling' or 'falling behind' and not able to work at expected and it is simply down to the school system and the time and attention allowed to that child. From my experience, I have found that 1 to 1 sessions are extremely effective at building confidence and developing understanding.
