About Dee
Hi, I’m Dee, a dedicated and passionate tutor from Ireland. I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2020 and have been tutoring students ever since, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Since moving to Melbourne in 2023, I’ve been working as a CRT in schools across the city, gaining valuable experience with diverse learners. I specialize in English, Math, and the Irish language, and I love making lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's needs. With a strong commitment to education, I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students can thrive. I create engaging and practical Irish lessons that focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing (depending on each individuals needs and preferences). Each session follows a structured approach:
Warm-up & Review – Recap of key vocabulary and phrases.
Core Lesson – Focus on particular area e.g. grammar, conversation, or comprehension.
Practice & Application – Interactive exercises, games, role-playing, or writing tasks.
Review & Feedback – Reinforcing learning and addressing challenges.
My goal is to make Irish fun, accessible, and immersive, helping students gain fluency and a deeper appreciation for the language! I like to make the language as fun and engaging as possible with lots of games, stories and songs.
