About Max
I am Max, a fully qualified computer science teacher with experience both in teaching, and in industry. I believe everyone is capable of not only understanding computer science, but of finding the joy in the subject.
I teach all levels and all areas, but I specialise in programming. This includes anything from the basics of what is a variable, all the way up to object oriented programming techniques such as polymorphism and encapsulation.
I have PGCE, QTS, and a first class bachelors in Computer Gaming Technology. I have had many positive reviews from parents and students alike, and I look forward to working with you!

I use a variety of resources including slides and worksheets, but the majority of my teaching is through hands on interactive learning.
My lessons are focused around what the student needs to know.
This can range from finding out what they're covering in class and which part of this they need additional support in, to finding out which aspects of computer science they find interesting, and following that interest!
