About Kelly
Like most teachers, I didn't go into teaching for the money or the long hours - I was actually approached by my former Psychology teacher and fancied a change. Since qualifying as a teacher I now couldn't see myself doing anything else. I love that I get to share my passion of the subject, and in turn I get to help people to maximise their potential and prepare them for their next steps in life.

I am an experienced and fully qualified Psychology teacher who currently teaches at a 6th Form college. I have consistently achieved outstanding results and the department ranks in the top 10 in the country for 'value added' meaning students are supported to maximise their potential. In terms of lesson delivery, I teach in a clear and methodical manner, and use my wide range of bespoke resources to facilitate students' development. I always attempt to make my lessons interesting as well as informative, and apply examples from my prior experience as a mental health practitioner to help consolidate students' understanding.
