About Beatriz

- I am originally from Spain and have been living and teaching in the UK for over 8 years! I am very passionate about sharing my love for languages and motivating my students to learn such a wonderful skill.

- 8 years of teaching experience as a Private Tutor.

- 2+ years of teaching experience as a Secondary School Teacher in the UK (Modern Foreign Languages: Spanish and French).

- 1 year of teaching experience as a University Professor in Spain.

- Fluent in English (C2), Spanish (native speaker), French (B2).

About the lesson

- Lessons are delivered using a PowerPoint presentation. The PowerPoint presentations include different materials to learn and consolidate each lesson´s topic. I generally include all 4 skills in each lesson (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

- I give homework every week to consolidate the learning. I mark it and share feedback with my students.

- Both the PowerPoint presentations and the homework are shared with students at the end of every lesson to a private Microsoft Teams group.

- I am always available on Microsoft Teams to answer any questions about the lessons or the homework.

- Focus of lessons: This depends on the student. Some of my GCSE students focus on the speaking element of their GCSE, whilst others look to improve their grammar and writing skills. Most adults look to learn practical Spanish to use it for work or whilst on holiday.
Overall, my classes are generally focussed on getting my students to speak as much Spanish as they can (even beginners!).

Lesson prices are:
- £25 in person tutoring.
- £20 online tutoring.

- First lesson is free: This is to meet, have a conversation about your goals and evaluate your current level of Spanish.

-As well as the lessons and the weekly homework, I am always happy to give out extra materials and recommend films/series to improve your language skills even further!
