About Catherine

Drama and speech work are my passions! Guildhall trained, I have acted from a young age, taught in schools for many years and directed plays with actors aged from 7 to 77! My students have achieved fantastic results in LAMDA exams, and I have run numerous drama workshops and taken students for acting and speech work including monologue preparation and correcting speech faults. Most importantly, I bring real enthusiasm to all my work to inspire and encourage!

About the lesson

Used well, your voice can be part of your 'toolkit' that makes people sit up and take notice of you - all to ensure you have real impact! Whether you'd like help for situations at work or social occasions, using your voice to good effect will be enormously beneficial and build your confidence too! I can also prepare you for drama exams across all subjects such as acting, characterisation and movement. I have been described as a relaxed and friendly teacher. I will listen to you speaking, work to understand what help you are asking for and then give you exercises and practice material to work on. Each lesson is 30 minutes long.
