About Caoilainn

Hello! Dia Duit! I’m Caoilainn. I am from Ireland and I am teacher of both English & Irish. I am a qualified teacher and also a qualified translator. I am a language expert and I have had a passion for languages since a young age.
I am a passionate teacher and love to share my love of learning with others. I offer reasonable rates and I am very flexible with time.

About the lesson

Interactive lessons in English/ Gaeilge (Irish) with plenty of focus on oral conversation to encourage language immersion. Structured lessons for all ages. Experience teaching all age groups from children to adults. Background in working with international students of all levels and also students at higher levels looking to reach fluency.

Perfect! I had to do an Irish Plan for a DEIS 1 Primary school in the school year 2024/2025. I was also retiring this year. I wanted the plan to include some of the traditional ways of teaching Irish as well as some new ideas and I found that Caoilainn's ideas really complemented mine and she was also very accurate when translating where necessary. Work was always returned in good time and she was reasonable when it came to payment.
