About Waqas
I am a fully qualified teacher with over 20 years experience teaching in mainstream schools and private one to one tuition. I am a STEM ambassador and deliver STEM lessons in schools as well as being a full member of the Teaching Agency of the Department for Education (formally the General Teaching Council of England).
After completing my Masters degree in Biomedical Science with Haemeatology, I worked as a Diagnostic Biomedical Scientist at the World renowned King's College Hospital. During my time there, I studied for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University College London Institute of Education to qualify as a teacher. I cover Mathematics, English and Science up to KS3, Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE including BTEC Applied Science and Biology up to A-Level. I am also qualified to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Biology, standard and higher levels. I can also help with university level tuition for both undergraduate and post graduate studies related to Science and Medicine.
