About Marie-Camille

MY EXPERTISE
I trained and taught as a secondary school English Teacher across various schools in France and in the UK, both in elite institutions and challenging educational environments for about ten years. These experiences have helped me become an expert at designing lessons specifically catered to each of my students' unique needs, which is exactly the kind of experience you can expect during our lessons together. Throughout my teaching career I have worked with more than 600 students aged 7 to 18, and have experience of tutoring adults, too. I am also a published Children's Author and Illustrator. I can teach you French or Creative Writing (my own speciality) at a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced level, and prepare you for GCSE, A level and more.

About the lesson

ABOUT THE WAY I TEACH
I believe learning should be an enjoyable process, and that a teacher's role is to make their students curious and eager to learn more beyond the classroom. Before you and I start our lessons together, I will make sure I understand exactly what you expect from them. I will design lessons which target your academic and personal objectives exactly, but also suggest fun resources you can look at outside of our lessons so that you don't just become more confident over time, but you also get to really enjoy the process of learning French and/or Creative Writing.

MY RATES
I can guarantee lessons that will be tailored to your exact needs. My lessons are never the same, and I don't recycle any of the educational content that I design. This is because I am an expert at what I do and have extensive experience tailoring my teaching method to each and every one of my students, while helping them create a lifelong connection with the subject they are learning. As a committed teacher I am also well versed with the latest research in Cognitive Development, which I often refer to when designing my lessons.
