About Lorna

I am a friendly and experienced teacher with 18 years' experience in the classroom, and 15 years as an examiner for Edexcel. I recently left my full-time post in order to teach online and travel the world! I receive excellent feedback from parents and students and enjoy working as a team to achieve high grades.

About the lesson

My 1 hour lessons are an ideal way for you to receive insider knowledge about how examiners mark your exam responses. I am an enthusiastic and engaging teacher with a wealth of experience teaching young people. I am driven by student progress, positive engagement, and researching more about the ever-changing real business world, both domestically and globally. This allows me to apply business theory to real, current examples. I like to suggest relevant books, films and podcasts to encourage you to learn more about the real business environment.

Lorna has over 15 years' experience of teaching Business at GCSE and A level, across a range of institutions and abilities, and is familiar with different exam boards and their content. Lorna's plans inspiring lessons, using up-to-date and relevent examples to engage and motivate students and has high aspirations for all. I've witnessed first-hand the rapport she has with students and support she provides. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
