About Linda
During my English teaching career, I was asked by a number of Guidance Counselors to tutor students within our high school as well as students who were not able to attend school for various reasons.
All students I tutored were able to pass their English courses which was a requirement for graduation. I found I really enjoyed tutoring students one-on-one, and was able to focus on their individual needs in great detail.
Some of these students still keep in touch with me; that is one of the joys of this profession.having achieved a Bachelor of Arts

I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Teacher who is originally from Maine. Recently having moved to Florida, I wish to help Middle school and High School students improve in all areas of English: Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Public Speaking.
My lessons are interactive and relevant to students, using traditional and creative methods( e.g. Jeopardy game) to enhance students' performances in required areas of Language Arts.
Past students have commented that I make studying English fun; I teach with passion, humor, and knowledge.
