About Rebecca

I am starting medical school next fall, and along the way, I have faced—and conquered—the challenges of physics, organic chemistry, and biology. I earned an A in every undergraduate science lecture I took, scored in the 89th percentile overall on the MCAT, and scored in the top 2% in Biology and Biochemistry.

I also served as an Instructor’s Assistant for Organic Chemistry Lab, where I helped students understand laboratory techniques and the scientific concepts behind them. This experience taught me how to take complicated material and explain it in a clear, approachable way.

Most importantly, I understand what it feels like to sit in a lecture and think, “I have no idea what my professor is talking about.” I’ve been there myself. Over time, I learned how to approach difficult topics from different perspectives until I found an explanation that made sense to me.

I want to help you do the same. My goal is to meet you where you are, find the approach that works best for you, and help you develop both the understanding and confidence to succeed in your science courses.

About the lesson

Hey there!

Struggling with a high school or college science course and feeling completely lost? I’ve been there—and I’m here to help!

As a pre-med graduate, I’ve learned how to break down complex scientific concepts into simple, understandable pieces, and I want to help you do the same. I’ve tackled challenging courses like organic chemistry and physics and scored in the top 2% on the MCAT in biology and biochemistry.

My tutoring is personalized to how you learn best. Tell me what you’re struggling with, what has (or hasn’t!) worked for you in the past, and we’ll build a study approach that makes sense for you.

Whether you’re trying to understand a confusing concept, prepare for an exam, or simply feel more confident in your science classes, I’ll meet you where you are. I’ll encourage you, motivate you, and break down even the most intimidating topics into manageable pieces.

You got this!

Sincerely,
Rebecca
