About Charity

Hello! My name is Miss Charity, and I’m a certified ESL teacher with over 10 years of tutoring experience, helping students from ages 1 to 47 achieve their language goals. I hold a Bachelor's degree from ATU and a 120-hour TESOL and TEFL certification, including specialized training in Grammar & Language Awareness, Teaching Large Classes, Remote/Telephone Teaching, and more. My teaching style is professional, student-centered, and engaging. I take the time to understand each learner’s individual needs and create personalized, goal-oriented lessons that make learning both effective and enjoyable. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine advanced skills, I use proven strategies to support your progress every step of the way. About the lesson

As an ESL tutor, my approach is student-centered, flexible, and rooted in the belief that learning should be fun and meaningful. I tailor each lesson to the individual’s goals, learning style, and language level—whether they’re just starting out, preparing for an exam, or looking to improve their conversational fluency. My teaching method blends interactive activities, real-life communication practice, visual aids, and structured language exercises to keep students engaged and motivated.

A typical lesson begins with a quick warm-up or review, followed by a focused activity that targets the student’s specific needs—such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or speaking fluency. I incorporate games, storytelling, and role-play for younger learners, while older students often benefit from guided discussions, listening exercises, or targeted reading and writing practice. Every lesson ends with a brief recap and personalized feedback to reinforce progress and build confidence.

What sets me apart is my combination of over 10 years of tutoring experience across a wide age range (1 to 47 years old), my 120-hour TESOL/TEFL certification with specialized training in grammar, large classes, and remote instruction, and my genuine passion for helping others succeed.
