About Refah
My goal as an educator is to show struggling students that learning doesn't have to be as difficult as it may seem. Teaching, to me, isn't just assisting you but maximizing potential as well! I aim to create a learning environment that is engaging, collaborative, safe, and inspirational as I would love nothing more than to pass forward the inspiration my mentors have brought to me. This experience isn't just about upping your grades but fueling your knowledge to carry on and implement the success you deserve, as well.

We will begin by introducing basic and prerequisite knowledge of the unit and work our way up. Both written and visual explanations will accompany the lesson to allow students to be catered to their learning styles. Relationships will also be explained by using other analogies and simplifications to ensure that the student has a full understanding. Example problems will start simple and progress over time. The students' comfort will be a top priority so won't be afraid to address their questions and concerns. 5-minute breaks/breathers will occur at least once every hour to ensure the student can persevere throughout the lesson. After all necessary material is covered, students will have the opportunity to exercise their thinking skills by taking a shot at a few "enriched" level problems.
