I like to begin by assessing my students’ learning style. They can be auditory, kinesthetic, or visual learners, and many times a combination of these. When a student is encouraged to learn in his or her natural way, content is much more likely to be understood and committed to long term memory.
I have worked with students in all core subjects since 2015 with special emphasis on math skills and reading comprehension. I have experience in elementary, middle, and high schools. I have trained in the Montessori method that places great importance in self-directed activity and hands-on learning for the discovery of students’ unique learning styles.
