About Aeren

Hello! I'm Aeren, a recent Computer Games Technology graduate with a passion for computing, programming, and education.

Throughout my studies and leadership roles, I have developed strong technical knowledge alongside excellent communication and mentoring skills. I believe that every student can succeed in Computer Science when concepts are explained clearly and learning is tailored to their individual needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.

As President of an award-winning university society, I gained extensive experience guiding and supporting people with different levels of knowledge and experience. This taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating a positive learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are treated as opportunities to learn.

My background in Computer Games Technology has provided me with practical experience in programming, software development, problem-solving, and computational thinking. I understand that Computer Science can sometimes feel challenging or overwhelming, particularly when preparing for exams, and I strive to make lessons engaging, approachable, and stress-free.

I pride myself on being professional, reliable, and well-prepared for every lesson. Whether you're aiming for top grades, struggling with a particular topic, or simply looking to improve your confidence in Computer Science, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals and reach your full potential.

About the lesson

I provide personalised Computer Science tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students, adapting each lesson to suit the student's individual learning style, goals, and current level of understanding. My teaching focuses on building genuine understanding rather than memorisation, using clear explanations, worked examples, interactive discussions, and practical programming exercises to reinforce key concepts.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or more complex topics. I hold a BSc in Computer Games Technology and have extensive experience explaining technical concepts through leadership and mentoring roles, including serving as President of an award-winning university society. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science students, whether they need help improving confidence, understanding difficult topics, developing programming skills, or preparing for examinations.
