About Raaniya

I am currently studying medicine at RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) and am really excited to be teaching younger students. During my time at school I’ve been an active peer mentor to students in younger years as well as peers. As the eldest of three I always find myself helping my sisters with their homework or exam prep, and I’d love to extend these services to other students who may need help! Whether it’s coming up with new study timetables, discovering personalized study methods or focusing on weaker areas in school subjects, you know where to find me!

About the lesson

- I like to work with students in the first few lessons to understand their preferred method of learning, to adjust my teaching methods to suit the style of the learner. Different subjects would require different approaches, e.g., math would require worked through examples whereas biology would require active recall and blurting methods.
- One lesson should be around 30 min- 1 hour.
- I am a recent graduate with 9 A*s at GCSE (English Language, Literature, History, Psychology, Biology, Math, Chemistry, Physics, Art) and 4 A's at A Level (Biology, Chemistry, Math and Physics)
- Lessons are open to students in middle school, high school and secondary.
