About Eli
I am an online maths tutor based in North London. I support students with all levels of school maths, including GCSE, A-Level (Maths and Further Maths) and even university entrance exams, e.g. Cambridge STEP. I am DBS checked. I have a first-class MMath degree from Durham University and a Master's degree in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge, having received academic awards throughout my studies, including the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for Academic Excellence. I have been working for several years as a Quantitative Analyst but my real passion is for teaching and communicating maths to the next generation.

With my tutees, my goal is to help them achieve mastery of all the concepts in their syllabus, and I hope to impart my excitement for maths as well. However, I understand that students' individual goals will vary, and I always adapt my approach to suit these needs: whether they require extra time and individual attention in order to keep up with the pace of in-class learning, are aiming to pass a particular exam, or are seeking more of a challenge and striving to achieve a greater depth of mathematical knowledge.
