About Seamus
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic aspiring teacher with a strong commitment to helping young people grow in confidence, resilience, and curiosity. My background in mathematics, combined with experience working in a variety of educational settings, has shown me how powerful learning can be when students feel supported, understood, and encouraged. I value building positive relationships, creating safe and inclusive classrooms, and making learning accessible for all pupils. Teaching appeals to me because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives, not only through academic progress but also by supporting their personal development. I am motivated by the opportunity to inspire learners, help them overcome challenges, and share in their achievements. With each experience—whether volunteering, teaching abroad, or training in schools—I have become more certain that education is where I belong and where I can contribute the most.
