About Aslan
With over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have dedicated my career to helping students achieve excellence and confidence in Mathematics. I hold a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Physics from University College London and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Canterbury Christ Church University. I also hold an Enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the Update Service for complete peace of mind. As a full-time professional tutor, I deliver structured, engaging lessons that are fully tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. My approach focuses on developing deep understanding rather than rote memorisation — encouraging logical thinking, independence, and long-term confidence. I believe every student can excel in Mathematics when taught with clarity, patience, and the right level of challenge. Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of students to outstanding results — from improving grades and building confidence to achieving A*s at GCSE and A Level and progressing to top UK universities, including Imperial College London, Queen Mary, and other Russell Group institutions.
