About Eloise
I am a highly enthusiastic and determined student, striving to better myself and my abilities all the time. Personally, I believe that a student upon student tutoring environment creates a safe and comfortable experience which I benefitted from myself. I have experience with younger children from being a swimming coach assistant and believe that these skills would be transferable as a tutor. I aim to develop my communication skills and help develop young people’s confidence surrounding exam anxiety.

As a tutor, my approach balances being fun and engaging with delivering insightful, informative lessons. In each one-hour session, I aim to use a mix of independent problem solving, and targeted exam questions to help students apply their learning effectively. I break down key concepts clearly, encouraging student participation to help deepen understanding. Lessons are designed to build both accuracy and speed, giving students the tools and confidence they need for exam success. By creating a supportive, motivating environment, I aim to make learning enjoyable while steadily boosting each student’s skills, helping them feel prepared and self-assured in their abilities. Qualifications/experience - I achieved all grade 9-7s in my GCSEs and achieved a strong pass for an out of catchment grade boundary in my 11+.
