About Ola
I’m currently on a gap year, which means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to supporting my students. I strongly believe in reflection, problem-solving and learning from mistakes rather than simply memorising content. I’m currently on a gap year, having recently completed my A-levels with AAA, so I understand first-hand the pressures of GCSEs and A-levels and what it takes to achieve top grades.
With two years of tutoring experience, I focus on making difficult topics simple and building students’ confidence rather than just asking them to memorise information. My lessons are tailored to each student, combining clear explanations, exam-style questions, active recall and effective exam technique.
I particularly help students understand what examiners are looking for, how to approach challenging questions and how to turn their knowledge into marks.
Lessons are typically one hour and are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities, whether you are struggling with the basics, aiming to improve your grade, or working towards grades 8–9.
Having gone through these exams recently myself, I know how overwhelming they can sometimes feel, and I aim to make lessons supportive, straightforward and focused on helping each student reach their full potential.
