About Artamei

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic student with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping others learn. I have experience supporting younger students at school, where I have provided one-to-one and small-group help in the subjects Maths and Biology. Through this, I have developed the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly, adapt my teaching style to suit different learners, and build students’ confidence in their abilities.

I am patient, approachable, and well organised, and I enjoy creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My experience has taught me the importance of encouragement, clear communication, and tailoring support to each individual’s needs. I take pride in helping students improve both their understanding and their confidence, and I am committed to making learning engaging, effective, and rewarding.

About the lesson

Offer 40/60 minute lessons. I alter my teaching techniques depending on the student's needs, but usually focus on coursing confidence for exams by building on prior knowledge and introducing exam techniques. Lessons for GCSE Biology students aiming for a grade 9.

A few words on Artamei - I would like to start by saying I wasn’t the most studious back in year 11 and found Artamei on another tutoring website. Skeptical at first, I now only have three words: reliable, helpful, and dedicated! If in doubt, go with Artamei; you won’t regret it. She helped me improve significantly with biology and maths, leaving me with an 8 and 9! Couldn’t be prouder. So if I could leave you with one message this evening: choose Artamei. Safe to say I’ll be using her for A-levels as well!
