About Daniele
I have been a professional Chemistry tutor and a full time Chemistry teacher at a top independent school for the past ten years.
I have tutored more than one hundred students. By working together we set realistic and achievable goals, which they consistently meet.
I have supported students with a range of ability. I am equally at ease supporting students who find Chemistry hard to gain a sound grasp of the foundations, or students who aspire to achieve the highest grades in order to apply to top universities.
I generally recommend all students to ensure that they have gained a good understanding of the whole syllabus before attempting to complete past papers, as this is the only way to assess their exam technique.

I strongly believe in the growth mindset and I tailor the lessons according to the needs of the student. The standard lesson includes a recap of previous material, an explanation/consolidation of the new ideas with questioning and dialog throughout to assess the student's understanding of the chemical ideas covered. I generally type in the notes for the lesson and email them to those students who request them.
I hold a PhD in Chemistry and I am therefore comfortable teaching the most able and gifted students but I am also able to be supportive and make the material accessible to those students who find Chemistry taxing to understand.
