About Christine

Bonjour! I am Christine, a French native with an academic background in France and a professional certification from l’Alliance Française. Since 2012, I have been teaching French in England and Portugal, supporting students to achieve their best results. What makes my approach unique is that I combine authentic conversation with structured resources such as texts, articles, and real-life scenarios. My lessons are never about memorising rules without meaning — I always explain the “why” behind grammar and vocabulary, so students can understand, apply, and feel confident in the exam. I run GCSE French Masterclasses designed to build both skills and confidence in the main exam themes. Each Masterclass is 2 hours long, limited to 5 students, and provides intensive practice in speaking, writing, listening, and grammar — all in full immersion. Students progress through the GCSE themes step by step, ensuring full preparation across every area of the exam. The price is £50 for the full 2-hour Masterclass For learners who prefer one-to-one lessons, I also teach individually — please see my other adverts for details.

About the lesson

This 2-hour GCSE French Masterclass focuses on the Free-Time Activities topic from Theme 1: Identity & Culture. We will work intensively on the skills and vocabulary needed to speak and write confidently about hobbies, sport, food, cinema, TV, and cultural interests. What you’ll cover: • Key vocabulary & expressions • Speaking strategies for role plays & photo cards • How to use past, present & future tenses naturally • Expanding answers with opinions, justifications, and connectors • Writing practice for short and extended responses What’s included: 2 hours of intensive teaching & practice Small group (max 5 students) – interactive and supportive Exam-style exercises with model answers Individual feedback and tips to boost grades ⸻ Coming Next: This lesson makes part of a series of GCSE French Masterclasses.
