About Dan

I have always enjoyed mathematics and helping others understand it. I want to tutor because I know how much of a difference a clear explanation can make when someone is struggling with a topic. Having recently been through school and the GCSE process myself, I can relate well to younger students and explain maths in a way that is straightforward and easy to understand. I’m patient, approachable and genuinely enjoy seeing someone become more confident and improve their maths skills.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on explaining difficult topics in a simple and understandable way, before working through practice questions together. I can help with homework, exam preparation, topics students are struggling with, or simply building confidence in maths. As someone who recently achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths, I understand the curriculum and the challenges students can face, and I aim to make maths feel much more manageable and enjoyable.
