About Uma
I am an incoming Engineering student at the University of Warwick, having just completed my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics with predicted A* grades at Watford Grammar Girls' School. I've had several years of experience tutoring as a Kumon teacher and I want to teach because I am passionate about making Maths and Physics accessible and love helping students build confidence in complex topics in a calm, kind and understanding way. Having recently achieved straight 9s at GCSE, I look forward to sharing the exact strategies and exam techniques that unlocked my own academic success.

I teach 60-minute online Maths and Physics lessons tailored for Edexcel GCSE students of all abilities. I am patient and understanding, and will break down complex topics into simple steps before pivoting to intensive and effective exam question practice.
