About Shah
I have a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in their studies. I achieved 11 GCSEs at A*–A and went on to study Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Computer Science at A Level. I am currently studying MEng Computer Science at University College London and work as a Junior Full Stack Developer, giving me strong practical experience in programming and problem-solving.
I also have previous teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Kumon, where I supported students with Mathematics and English and helped them develop confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive and focused on making sure students genuinely understand what they are learning. I encourage students to bring topics or questions they are struggling with, which we work through together before moving on to tailored practice questions. My aim is not just to help students get the right answer, but to give them the understanding and confidence to solve similar problems independently.
I mainly teach GCSE and A-Level students and am happy to adapt lessons to suit each student's individual needs and goals.

Practice makes perfect. Lessons are focused on identifying areas that a student is struggling with and working through them together. Once the topic is covered, we create practice questions tailored to the student so they can apply what they've learned and build confidence.
Lessons typically last between 1-2 hours, depending on the student's needs and the amount of material we want to cover.
I previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Kumon, where I mainly taught mathematics to students of a wide range of ages and abilities. This gave me experience adapting my explanations and teaching style to suit different students.
My lessons are mainly aimed at GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Computer Science students looking to strengthen their understanding, practice difficult topics, and prepare for exams.
