About Szymon
Outside of tutoring I'm passionate about physics and mathematics beyond the curriculum — currently working through university-level physics material during my gap year. I enjoy chess, history, and have a keen interest in motorsport. I'm driven, curious, and genuinely love the process of teaching complex topics in a way which is easy to understand for anyone.

I achieved 8 GCSE grade 9s, A grades in A-level Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and hold Silver awards in both the Junior Maths and Physics Olympiads — meaning I know these subjects well beyond what the syllabus requires. I have direct experience with AQA Physics, OCR Maths and OCR Computer Science. Most recently I helped a student improve from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in just three months. As former Head Student at Lincoln UTC, I also supported many peers through exam preparation, running group learning sessions and building tailored revision materials specific to each student's needs and exam board.
My approach is built around one core belief: real progress comes from understanding the foundations of a subject, not memorising answers. I help students see how concepts connect across the curriculum so that as their knowledge grows, everything slots into place naturally — allowing them to access those higher marks with confidence. I simplify difficult ideas using plain language and analogies, stripping away intimidating terminology so students can engage with the subject without fear. Every student I work with gets tailored revision materials built specifically for them, designed to reinforce and consolidate what we cover together session by session. Lessons can vary in length from 1-3 hours.
