About Matthew
In college, I participated in mentoring sessions for maths in which I assisted students who had previously struggled to gain their GCSE grades. I am now looking to assist others who are in similar situations in order to help them reach their full potential. My lessons aim to engage students int maths whether they have become complacent and need new challenges to solve or help with work they are completing at school. Maths can be a challenging subject. By approaching all topics from a ability the student understands then building on their previous knowledge, good progress will be made.
The lessons can run up to an hour or on occasion longer if required i.e. going through a full exam paper.
I graduated University in 2022 with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education with QTS and have developed new skills in order to enable students with the ability to succeed with mathematics.
My lessons are aimed at students studying at a GCSE to A level standard.

Matt is a very calm and approachable person; he will listen to a students problems and help them understand where they are going wrong. He is also a very able mathematician and his ability to understand and solve complex problems allows him to break these down into manageable steps.
