About Liam
I'm a conservation ecologist and environmental educator, recently relocated to Sheffield, with a strong academic record across STEM subjects (all A*/9s at IGCSE and A-Level) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney (Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Soil Science and Hydrology), graduating with a Chancellor's Award and Dean's List honours.

I've been tutoring and mentoring in various forms for several years: informally for family friends and connections, through mentoring roles at school and university, and more recently through paid private tutoring (one-on-one tutoring in Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-Level) and professional environmental education work.
I know how to break down technical material clearly without losing rigour, and I genuinely enjoy watching a concept click for a student. That's a big part of why I do this work. I'm happy to tutor in person or online, and I'm equally comfortable supporting exam-focused revision or building foundational understanding for a student who's finding a subject genuinely difficult.
