About Srimathi

I'm a maths tutor who believes that every student learns differently. Rather than following the same lesson plan with everyone, I start by understanding your current ability, identifying areas that need work, and building a personalised plan around your goals.

**How I can help**

I offer mathematics tutoring up to A-level, including support with GCSE preparation, revision and TMUA practice.

About the lesson

My lessons can help you:

* Identify gaps in your mathematical understanding.
* Break down difficult concepts into manageable steps.
* Practise applying methods to mathematical and exam-style questions.
* Strengthen weaker topics through targeted exercises.
* Build confidence through structured practice, homework and regular assessments.

**My approach to teaching**

I begin by assessing your current level and understanding where you are struggling. We then prioritise the topics that need the most attention, taking account of your goals and the time available.

I use explanations, guided practice, homework and tests to check your understanding and help identify what we should work on next. My aim is not simply to help you memorise a method, but to help you understand how and when to apply it independently.

I have experience teaching students aged 9–17 and currently support GCSE students. One student I have tutored improved from a grade D to a grade A. I also help students prepare for the TMUA.

**Lesson arrangements**

Lessons can take place online or, where practical, at your home. I provide exercises and practice activities tailored to your learning needs.
