Hi, I'm Izzy and please get in touch with any tutoring queries!
I have experience tutoring Maths at the GCSE level, and am looking to tutor from KS1 to GCSE. I achieved (concealed information) at GCSE (incl. further maths), and 4 As at A Level in Maths, Biology, Politics, and EPQ (on Defamation Law).
I also achieved my Grade 8 (Gold Medal) LAMDA Speaking in Public at Distinction Level. I am mental health peer mentor trained, safeguarding trained, and have done First Aid for 6 years.
My lessons are typically an hour or two hours. I believe retention is maximised by work in between; I am happy to set this and recommend the relevant apps. I also believe in increased quantity of sessions in holidays and leading up to Mocks and external exams. This can all be discussed in your consultation.
My lessons are extremely engaging and tailored to your learning style - we can discover what that is if you don't know yours already! I like to teach by sharing my screen and working it out together on an online workbook, however this can all be adjusted to your needs.
After every session I write a report, and each session is bespoke to your needs, subject to a consultation with student and parent about the aims of your tutoring.
I am also a well-rounded person: I represented my county in Tennis, Hockey, and Cricket. I am extremely friendly and have lots of classroom experience; please don't hesitate to get in touch! I can cater to all exam boards.

Details
I do a maximum of 30 minutes free additional work between sessions (writing reports, homework help, general correspondence, etc).
After that I charge at the half hour rate of £12.50.
This could include: me setting additional work and grading it, doing a test walkthrough session, etc.
All correspondence otherwise is free (eg questions regarding next sessions, topics wanting to cover in the future, etc).
